Role      Reporting Support (PID 283.b)


Work Description   

Support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program. Facilitate data gathering and creation of programmatic weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to PMO leadership. Serve as a business analyst for SharePoint administration and tooling for the PMO:

   Provide guidance, insight, and strategic direction to SharePoint implementation and    development work for the Program

   Function as the liaison between the customer and the SharePoint technical team

   Support the full lifecycle SharePoint development process (requirements gathering, testing,    training, documentation)

   Guide user experience (UX) and design best practices

   Mature the OEHRM SharePoint training and user feedback initiatives

   Coordinate across stakeholders with divergent needs and drive strategies and standards in a    timely fashion

   Support the enterprise lessons learned management process with integrated stakeholders



Basic qualifications:

   Must have 5 years of professional experience, 8 additional years of relevant experience may be    substituted for education

   Must have knowledge in how to plan, analyze, and evaluate the effectiveness of operating    programs

   Must be able to use source data to evaluate the effectiveness of programs and business    processes

   Must be able to use qualitative and quantitative analytical skills to assess the effectiveness of    the operations

   Strong writing and communications skills

   Experience facilitating various formats of user training

   Experience supporting full lifecycle software development

   Process modeling and flow diagram experience; Visio experience

   Experience working in an Agile environment

   Experience supporting business case analysis and identification of alternative solutions and    resulting business impacts (i.e., courses of action (COA) development)

   General project management understanding/experience

   Developing program plans and standard operating procedures (SOPs)

   Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems

   Experience using Microsoft SharePoint

   Microsoft O365 Apps familiarity (OneDrive, OneNote, Teams, Planner)

   Understanding of Integration of SharePoint data with Office 365 (PowerBI)

   Experience in the VA

   Experience implementing Electronic Health Records


Educational Requirement:

   Bachelors Degree in a Business discipline
