Role:                  QSV Project Manager 

Work Description   

Support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program as a QSV Project Manager. In performing day-to-day activities, the PMO Program Manager will be responsible for the following: Develop and maintain RASCI including all task order requirements and deliverables for all personnel; Creates QSV playbook articulating engagement throughout all phases of the HER implementation; Leads QSV meetings and updates stakeholders on key QSV activities; Using Microsoft project, manage all OEHRM QSV tasks and deliverables; Manage multidisciplinary teams to ensure team productivity and efficiency; Authors strategic guidelines QSV SOPs; Develop QSV policies; Facilitates deliverable review process; Monitors Project activities, reviews and creates project performance metrics and engages stakeholders to determine if Project work meets acceptable quality standards; Updates the Executive Sponsor on Project status and performance, providing appropriate recommendations as necessary; Represents QSV clients in meetings and conferences when requested.

 

Requirements   

Basic qualifications:

   Minimum of 5 years of experience is required. An additional 10 years of relevant experience may be substituted for degree requirements

   Ability to work independently to design and develop new software products or major enhancements to existing software for a healthcare/ clinical environment

   Acts as the highest level technical expert, addressing problems of systems integration, compatibility, healthcare semantics, informatics, and multiple platforms. Responsible for project completion

   Performs feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management

Educational Requirements:

   Bachelors Degree in Healthcare IT, computer science, electronics engineering, engineering or technical related field

Additional qualifications:

   Experience in the VA

   Experience implementing Electronic Health Records
